A wind sensor for measuring relative wind speed and direction. The sensor outputs the wind direction relative to the orientation of the base of the sensor (in number of turns from -0.5 to 0.5) and the wind speed in m/s. Wind data is relative to the speed of the sensor and only measures wind in the plane of the sensor.
